The scheme proposes four 1 bed modular maisonette apartments, constructed offsite.

The proposal site lies to the south west of Grantham town centre, adjacent to existing affordable housing. The site, which measures approximately 0.04 hectares (approx. 0.1 acres), is currently vacant land, which in the past has been used for informal car parking.

The site is bounded on all sides by existing residential properties on Earlesfield Lane and Thames Road.
