While benefitting from the appearance of a traditionally constructed building, the project utilises stacked room modules constructed offsite. Offsite construction offers a wealth of benefits from certainty of delivery, reduced programme time, better energy efficiency and greater design consistency.

Elements Europe acted as main contractor for the scheme. The design features a basement which included new piling and the laying of a raft foundation. The modules were installed onto the foundation and stacked to 6 storeys by crane. The haulage team delivered modules to site to achieve the completion of one floor per week.

The room modules have the feel of a hotel room with work space, a sleeping area and ensuite bathroom. EA rooms have also been incorporated to provide accessible accommodation.
