The design of the proposed new homes adopts a traditional approach, whilst creating its own distinctive character.

The scheme proposes three new 1 bed bungalows and four 1 bed maisonette apartments.


The proposal sites lie to the west of Bourne town centre, adjacent to existing affordable housing. The west site, measures approximately 0.09 hectares (approx. 0.2 acres) and the east site, measures approximately 0.08 hectares (approx. 0.2 acres). Both sites are currently vacant land, both sites in the past have been used for informal car parking.


The sites are tightly bounded on all sides by existing residential properties on Meadow Close, Meadowgate, George Street and Recreation Road.
