The design of the proposed new homes adopts a traditional approach, whilst creating its own distinctive character.

The scheme proposes three new 2 bed bungalows, one new 1 bed bungalow and one new 3 bed bungalow.


The proposal sites lie to the north west of Stamford town centre, adjacent to existing affordable housing. The west site, measures approximately 0.1 hectares (approx. 0.2 acres) and the east site, measures approximately 0.12 hectares (approx. 0.3 acres). Both sites are currently vacant land, both sites in the past have been used for informal car parking.


The sites are bounded on the north, east and west sides by existing residential properties on Trinity Road, and by the main town cemetery on the south.
